Call Rossi Distance With Marquez Still Too Big, She Determined to Maintain Good Rate

Valentino Rossi believes the distance with Marc Marquez is still too big to be pursued. But Rossi was determined to continue the positive rate until the end of the season.

Movistar Yamaha rider now has 180 points, 43 points ahead of Marquez in the top of the standings. Whereas in 2016 only season with the only remaining five races in Aragon, Japan, Australia, Malaysia and Valencia last.

Nevertheless, Rossi made an increase after the holiday competition to finish ahead of Repsol Honda. In Austria, Rossi finished fourth and second in the Czech Republic, three in the United Kingdom, and the runner-up in San Marino.

"It's too big, 43 points and only five races left. A great distances," said Rossi, who preached Autosport. "But, basically, he is very tough and if you are able to beat him in a race that you race with great meaning."
